the easiest way to do this is to uninstall winzip and reinstall it again
when you install it you will come to a part of the installation that asks you wether you want to start with winzip classic or winzip wizard, you need to choose wizard, then continue with the installation until you have completed it
them when you double click a winzip(compressed) file a winzip flash screen will appear and you should click "continue evaluation" and then follow the instructions there onwards, winzip will unzip the file and once completed a window will appear with the unzipped file in it
note: all unzipped files will be moved to "my documents"
then its just a case of clicking the set up folder or the exe. file to install your application or program
if you want to compress a folder then just right click the folder and select winzip>configure
any problems let me know
good luck

Double Click on the file.

There you go

If this does not work then Right click on the file select open with from the choice list select WinZip. Make sure that the small tick box saying "Allways use this program for this type of file" is ticked
