How the hell do I tell the wife her bum looks fat in her new dress?

She asked me does her bum look big in it and i said no but really it looks huge and it looks like it might split under the strain!!!

First you can start by being a little bit more sensitive about her bum looking to big.. is not the end of the world!! you can be honest if you are sensitive about it saying something like baby i think your bum is a little big but we can work something together so it will fit the right way.. ask her to walk together and do some sensible diet... do me a favor.. what dont you put on some thongs and then go look your self in a mirrow bet you will find something about you that it might not be to attractive and yet we havent read anything from your wife asking for adivice on how to tell you you aint all that!! uhmmmmm maybe she loves you just the way you are... why dont you do the same and love her just as she is.. good luck.

That's a really good question. I think if you could somehow get her to ask one of her friends (one that isn't too fat) they might be able to tell her without her getting angry. I have had kind of a similar situation. I try tell my wife that "we" need to exercise, not "you." It has helped. Spending time exercising together has been great even though we don't do it as often as we should.

If it's such a problem, go window shopping until you find a dress that will fit her better that you find sexy, then go home and get her. Tell her you found a beautiful dress you want to get her, then take her to the mall and have her try it (and buy it!!). Problem solved.
