i also miss the lake view, as link 955 does.

i spent many years on the shore of lake superior, and miss her reassuring crystal presence alongside my daily adventures. of course those adventures are now more enjoyable and worthwhile (!) due to who they're with, i'd still like to see vast dark blue, or gray, or green or white depending on her moods as i look to the northeast...

I grew up on the shore of Lake Erie in Ohio, and spent most of my youth on the beaches. I live in New England now, and while the mountains are awesome, I do miss the lake shore. *sigh*

there was a small hut in front of our old house where a very old but very beautiful lady used to live. everyday, i used to see her with a wonderful smile which used to make my day. i miss that smile and that face.
