what is the chance of getting an std?

Yes, definitely. Please, please, please don't fall prey to the myth that lesbians somehow don't get STD's. Yes, the rates for disease transmission between lesbians are lower than those for other couplings, but the risk is still there.

Put condoms on all of the sex toys you use and make sure to change the condoms when you change who they're being inserted into; if you haven't before, put your sex toys in the dishwasher (if they're dishwasher safe!), or in hot or boiling, soapy water to disinfect them. For cunnilingus or analingus, definitely use dental dams or saran wrap between your mouth and the vagina or anus in question. And for grinding or tribadism, being protected is infinitely harder, but can be done. See my answer on it here:

Be careful, stay safe, and have fun!

YES! Lesbians are not immune to STDs. Make sure you properly clean your toys too! Different topys need to be cleaned different ways depending on the material they're made of. Make sure you always put a condom/glove over toys. Make sure that you use a dental dam for oral and that you use different ones each time to keep from transferring fluids.

dental dams are just like condoms, there is still a small chance that they could not work

dental dams are good but not 100% proof.

Unless you are 100 percent sure of your partner, ALWAYS use safer sex practices!!! Gloves, dams, condoms on toys, whatever kind of sex floats your boat, make it as safe as possible.
Always. Please. And realize that nothing is foolproof. Get tested regularly, keep yourself safe.

Well, I don't think they are 100% safe, but I must say, if you exercise intelligence and caution in choosing your partners, I would say you will probably be all right. I have been fine so far... :)
