Yes, it does work. It takes a while for it to really start showing, but it really does. I use it myself.

I didnt like it at all, it took way too long to show some color and it made my skin look oily.

lots of moisturizers work, even vasaline, noxzema and ponds cold cream work (use them overnight)....including what you bought for under makeup. My mother used to use jergens, and I've used vasaline intensive care under makeup. Any "moisturizer" will do.

Yes, it traps also moister from escaping from the skin.

yes, just don't use to much or your face will get oily!
