I've made a slideshow on windows powerpoint, and i want to know if it is possible for me to put it onto a disc that would play in a standard dvd player.
i'm making a mother's day gift for my sister, from her children - the slideshow is full of pictures of the kids, and has a song playing in the background.
i need to put it on a dvd because my sis is not very good with technology and would have trouble playing it on a pc lol.

that is such a sweet idea! you need to burn it onto a DVD not a CD although not all computers have a DVD drive or writer, if you simply put it on a CD it will not work in a DVD player. if you dont have a DVD drive or writer then you will mebs have to use one of your mates computers

I answered this about 12 questions ago and that is:- down load free photo editing software like ulead and save /copy your moviemaker cd to disc playable on tv, you should be able to get an option which way to save. I have done this and if a silver surfer can do this you can.

u need to have a device called dvd writer, and dvd burber software, and a blank DVD, by the burner software u get instruction to burn the dvd, it will take maximum 10 minutes to burn/make ur dvd. dude its very simple.
