I am in college right now in a telecommunications degree program.
By the end of this year I will have my CCNA and MCSA. From there I can either go the Netwrok route and get my CCNP or the administration route and get my MCSE. Which certification would be more valuable to me just graduating school, and what would the difference in job roles be between the two career paths. Also what kind of salary could I expect. I have no real experience in the field, except I am working at the college as a computer lab assistant.

I wouldget the ccnp because is more valuable. Also it will allow you to become a network admin just as if you had MCSE, but better. CCNP will make you a better network admin because it will show you how to work with the hardware configuration and design of the network. MCSE sticks to the OS (microsoft os), this you can learn on your own just by working on your other certs and at home. Having Cisco certs will get you anyware you want and the pay is better.
