Hello..^_^

Well, I live here in India. Though I'm NOT an Indian, I was born in India.
Now, I'm 16 and I'm experiencing all these thoughts, where I REALLY wanna live in the US.
I really SUCK in soccer, which is my fave sport, because THERE ARENT ANY GOOD soccer coaches. Also, soccer coaches are REALLY difficult to find. All the ppl that play soccer well, have learnt soccer by themselves.

Also, I wish I could have the opportunity to have a girlfriend , you know. I know that in America anyone can be a good soccer player and guys like me, can have great girlfriends.

I know that I shouldn't be complaining and all that. Life in India, is simply comfy and kinda fine....^_^

But, you know....Usa, has Hot Dogs(Which I have never tasted in my life), proper, HAM burgers (With REAL HAM), no need to wear uniforms in schools, can hang around with girlfriends, also, maybe, can have sex(^_<) and you have a living even though You're not good in studies. ETC ETC.Hold, on,more info comin..

If you want to come to the USA I recommend coming here for college first. Sometimes I wish I wasn't an American believe it or not, the things you yearn for are the same things I have problems with...I haven't dated in a year, its not as easy as some make it to date...depends on where you live I guess, me being from the wealthiest county in America makes things tough. Also soccer is a growing sport in America, I love New England Revolution as pros go.

Also hotdogs, you are missing much, I have no clue what they are made of. And hamburgers are made of beef, not ham..but I prefer the cheeseburger anyway. America is a combination of many cultures so you can eat indian food as well as italian food and american yankee dishes on the same day.

Best of luck, remember to check out American colleges if you want to live here though.

Hey! NO you are not wrong to think that . I came here (usa) with my mom when I was five now i'm 16 and I think it was the best thing that could have happened for me. America has a lot of oppertunities yeah like guys (in your case girls) and driving (when your 16!!! when do people drive in India?) hanging out with friends , ham burgers and all that good stuff! But you do have to work hard to get to what you want but there are alot of good people who will help you. You should definetely come here for college if you can't wait THAT long then you should come here for a few weeks and see what it's like I promise your not going to be dissapointed. Soccer here is pretty popular and you will find alot of good coaches and teams if you come here for high school or college . By the things you listed that you want I think you will like it ALOT here.
well ,email me if you have any questions or just wanna talk at:

oh the american dream. first, HAMburgers are made from beef...not ham. it is a funny name for it though. coming to the usa is not an easy adjustment. i've lived here my whole life and i've had a lot of great opportunities but you have to work HARD if you want to play soccer. at your age, everyone dreams of being a great player in some sport. but its expensive. in the usa, money talks. you need to have the money for the coaches and the practices. sure you may be lucky and get to a high school that has a great soccer team and then you can just work from there. but its not as easy as you are thinking of it. another big misconception: GIRLS ARE NOT EASY. not most of us anyway. dont think you'll come here and have girls all over you. thats not the way it is here. you have to prove to a girl that you are worth her time and that you wont have girlfriends but just ONE girlfriend. and as for uniforms, a lot of schools DO enforce that here. most public schools do not, but there are a few exceptions. most private schools, on the other hand do. as for "having a living even though you're not good in studies" WRONG. making minimum wage is NOT gonna get you anywhere. you need to have the brains to talk to other people and work as a group. listen, i'm the second generation in america. i was the first to be born here. my grandparents and parents had to work really hard to get where they are. but trust me, a lot of what you think about america is not true. sure there is opportunities but life isnt all about money and girls. stick with that mentality and you would never be able to make it in the US. i hope this helped you out a bit! good luck and never let go of your dreams. work hard at soccer and maybe one day you'll make it big =)

LOL! You certainly have your priorities in order, soccer, girls, and driving. Hamburgers are made from beef by the by. Soccer has gotten huge over here in the good ol USA, Every school offers it, there are soccer camps and clinics everywhere. You would have to be pretty bad to be turned down from a soccer team over here.
As fars as the girls go, all you need to know is show them some respect. They'll let you know if they like you or not,. (It's not like a girl smorgasboard where you just pick and choose) Always respect! Driving is a priviledge over here, you also have to earn that. You take Drivers Education classes, then you need to pass a written and then a hands on drivers test with a certified DMV inspector. There's alot of responsibilty involved when wanting to drive. We just don't hand over the keys to a car like a game show. You'll need money....To buy a car, insure a car, and to maintain the car. For that, you'll need a job., and for a good job I suggest you do very well in your "studies". The better you do in your "studies" the more employable you become. (At least in most cases...) Good Luck to you.
