oh, where to start...... The Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon is awesome... The "Dark" series by Christine Feehan is also better than chocolate! Both of these series have like 12 books in it, great indepentant reads but astronomical as a series! Also, Nora Roberts has a trilogy out involving vampires, also a wonderful read.
