standard saddle height 4 an Epiphone G400?

Question

Plz could sum1 tell me the standard saddle height when said guitar is new. Cms would be good, or number of turns from the bottom would be gr8!! cheers

Epiphone don't seem to quote a figure anywhere just a generic "factory setting". Ideal height is as low as possible so that the action is as low as possible without the string buzzing on the next fret up when you hold down a note. This will vary from guitar to guitar and may involve tweaking the truss rods to compensate for any bends in the neck. The height when new is not necessarily the best height. If in doubt take it to a guitar tech who will sort it out for £20 or so.
