I used to work for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee, and unfortunately, the answer is YES.

Your discharge has absolutely nothing to do with your obligation to cooperate with your trustee. If you fail to cooperate, the trustee may file a complaint to revoke your discharge and your case may be dismissed. Your creditors will resume collection actions against you, and you will have lost your filing fee, as well as any money you paid to an attorney.

Trustee can take any non-exempt portion of income tax return due to you on account of time prior to the bankruptcy filing
