There are speed tests available on the internet. To get a true picture of your internet speed, you will need do the tests at different times and arrive at an average. For instance the internet speed is generally higher during late nights and early mornings.

Try these speed tests - meant for indian internet tests - proximity of the server matters ;-)

I use UOTRACE it is the best tells you every thing and you can down load it to your desktop and i use it all the time even tells your ping when playing games. you can go to help and support by clicking start then -help n support-net working n the web - tools - and then network diagnostics lots of other good info there 2 but if you have dial up dont even bother your slow.

The sites listed will give you a general idea what your speeds are running. Usually its said by your ISP that the speed will be up to what ever the limit is but may be a little lower or not to far from that limit.

You can test the speed by going to link below.On the left hand side it will test it for you if you click on speed tests.No you don't have to join to do it.
