y = 3/5x - 3 - - - --Equation 1
2x - y = - 4- - - - - -Equation 2
- - - - - - - - - -
Convert equation 1 to standard form
y = 3/5x- 3
5y = 5(3/5x ) - 5(3)
5y = 3x - 15
- 3x + 5y = 3x - 15 - 3x
- 3x + 5y = - 25. . ..Standard for equation 1
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
- 3x + 5y = - 15
2x - y = - 4
- - - - - - - - - - -
Multiply standard form equation 1 by 2 and equation 2 by 3
-3x + 5y = - 15
- 2(3x) + 2(5y) = - 2(15)
- 6x + 10y = - 30
- - - - - - - -
2x - y = - 4
3(2x) - 3(y) = - 3(4)
6x - 3y = - 12
- - - - - - - -
- 6x + 10y = - 30
6x - 3y = - 12
- - - - - - - - - -
7y = - 42
7y/7 = - 42/7
y = - 6
The answer is y = - 6
Insert the y value into equation 2
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
2x - y = - 4
2x - (- 6) = - 4
2x + 6 = - 4
2x + 6 - 6 = - 4 - 6
2x = - 10
2x/2 = - 10/2
x = - 10/2
x = - 5
The answer is x = - 5
Insert the x value into equation 2
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Check for equation 2
2x - y = - 4
2(-5) - ( - 6 = - 4
- 10 + 6 = - 4
- 4 = - 4
- - - - - - -
Check for equation 1
y = 3/5x - 3
- 6 = 3/5(- 5) - 3
- 6= - 15/5 - 3
- 6 = - 3 - 3
- 6 = - 6
- - - - - - - -
The solution set is { - 5, - 6 }

Ok so what u want to do is,
Draw sum axes label them,
Then draw the first lines,
in any linear equation there are 2 main points x intercept and y intercept, u find each by substituting 0 into the other
So for eq 1
0 = 3/5 x - 3
3 = 3/5 x
3/(3/5) x
x = 5
y = -3
So for the first like draw a lline between the points at (0,-3) and (5,0)
The do the same of line 2
2x - 0 = -4
2x =-4
x = -2
-y = 4
So these points are (0,-4) and (-2,0)
When u draw these line they will intersect and that in the solution to ur question
the mathematical way of solving is as follows
The lines will intersect were the equations are equal so
3/5 x - 3 = 2x + 4
7/5 x = 7
7/(7/5) = x
x = 35/7
x = 5
Then sub in x to find y
10 - y = -4
y = 14

Take 2/3x and placed it in the position of y: 2/3x=-a million/3x+6 Multiply both aspect through 3 to eliminate the fractions: 2x=-x+18 upload x from both aspect: 3x=18 Divide 3 from both aspect: x=6 y=2/3(6) y=2(2) y=4 y=-a million/3(6)+6 y=-2+6 y=4 the answer set is (6,4) examine: 4=2/3(6) 4=12/3 4=4 4=-a million/3(6)+6 4=-2+6 4=4 i'm hoping this helps!

Subtract 2x from both sides:
-y=-2x-4
Divide -1 from both sides:
y=2x+4
y=3/5x-3
3/5x-3=2x+4
Multiply both sides by 5 to get rid of the fractions:
3x-15=10x+20
-7x-15=20
Add 15 from both sides:
-7x=35
Divide -7 from both sides:
x=-5
3/5(-5)-3=2(-5)+4
-3-3=-10+4
-6=-6
The solution set is (-5,-6)
Check:
-6=3/5(-5)-3
-6=-3-3
-6=-6
2(-5)-(-6)=-4
-10+6=-4
-4=-4
I hope this helps!
