A friend and I went to one in London and although we're not Portugese, we felt insulted. It was like a "corner joint" restaurant with a crappy menu. Yeah grab something from there on your lunch break but I would not suggest investing in a whole meal there.

that's the odd thing about nandos - i wouldnt say its a love it or hate it thing, but its def a love it or ambivalent about it thing. i dont understand the hype. frankly i think its okay - nothing amazing about it.. but my friend thinks its the best place for food, and its always his first choice for any eating out, celebration or quick -fix.

I haven't tried them yet but there a growing chain here in London. I understand they are a South African/Portuguese concept. Having had your recommendation I will have to try them soon.
