I am right there along with you and agree 100%. There is something that I don't trust about him, you're right, it hasn't been exposed. Just like Billary but I know about her I hate her politics. I don't like Obama politics but something is not right when it comes to him.

I like to start out 1-1/2 years before an election uncomfortable about EVERYONE running for president! In the next 18 - 20 months, all the mystery surrounding Obama (and the rest of the candidates as well) will be gone.

So early skepticism is good. Keep an open mind, listen, think and decide. And remember that the party platform and policies are ultimately more important than the candidate's charm and personality.

His name is spelled Barack Obama. Of course a lot of people feel uncomfortable about Barack Obama. He has shot into the national spotlight in a matter of two or three years. Let's not mince words, you feel uncomfortable about him for the following reasons:
He's a politician
He's black
He's experienced in the Islamic faith
It's only "american naturalism" to feel this. If you had read his books, DREAMS OF MY FATHER and THE AUDACITY OF HOPE you would have a glimpse into the man's thoughts and character. In those books, he expressed flaws in himself as well as hope of overcoming those flaws. The talk about drugs comes directly from his book DREAMS OF MY FATHER where he admits to experimenting with "pot" and "coke" in high school. You may not be racist, but you are prejudice as are most Americans if not most the world's population. Why does Obama have to have underlying motives to run for President? Ask yourself some other questions also, like do Hillary Clinton, Rudolph Giuliani, or John Edwards have underlying motives for running for President?

Maybe not but your distrust isn't based on any inherent logic that I can see, the man's life is a fairly open book. Admissions he's made in his writings should show this, as far as experience he has no less than either Lincoln, or Kennedy, and his educational level is simply great. He has great understanding of the law, a good understanding od foreign affairs and I think a good chance at the Dem nomination, the political hacks have already started attacking him which means they have something they fear in his candidacy, perhaps they fear his electability.

after reading thoughts like "Also, something is not right about him" I ask what the hell is wrong with you, the man has a record out there if you were nearly concerned as you say you are you'd investigate but as it is you all look like a bunch of superstitious old biddy's who want to gossip monger rather than have a real debate, leave the premonitions to pyschics you bunch of mindless idiots

Start dropping e-mails around apparently some of thenews media is either paid off or really ignorant. C-Span guest backing him this guy interjecting shared that Obama was 'Christian'. Some popular personalities need toknow sites & info as BHO has alot of $$ 'special interest' groups paving his way(God Forbid). He just started going to Church regularly b4 elections and has laundering $ deal with Rezko. Keep it up.

I don't feel uncomfortable. I don't see any underlying motives- I know every politian have some kind of motive or something they really feel strongly about- but that's the norm, I don't see anything narfairious about him

I have misgivings about Mr. Obama because of his lack of experience. He's young! He's attractive! He has a beautiful wife and family! These are superficial attributes.

When we get down to the specifics of his beliefs I think he may not be the rock star the press has made him out to be. Attractive and different do not qualify you to be the leader of the free world.

I agree he hasn't had enough experience in politics, all the others have lots of experience and I don't know if I want someone who hasn't had much experience running my country because he might be put in TOO MANY situations that he not sure what he is going to do.

Probably a nice person, but no experience or accomplishments. Who in their right mind could be comfortable with someone like that for President?

I'm a lot more comfortable with Mitt Romney. Check out his backgroiund and accomplishments on Wikipedia.

You mean uncomfortable about the fact that he's an ultra-leftist or uncomfortable about the fact that he has no practical leadership experience or uncomfortable that we really don't have the straight facts about his background. None of this stuff is about racism. It's about philosphies and experience and I have a lot of questions about his.
