Hi, i took the morning after pill just over two weeks ago. I had my period 5days after taking it, although it only lasted 2-3days and was light compared to my normal flow. This worried me so i went to a family planing clinic, and they did a pregnancy test which came back negative so said it was just an effect of the pill.
This morning I started another period, just a week after the last one ended! very unusual for me! anyone have any ideas whats going on? I was meant to start the bc pill, but because of this confusion i havnt been able to.

Thank you x

OK that is weird,I have never took the morning after pill but with your hormones flipping around it may take a little time to get better.
Was this your first time to take the pill? I would say that you still start the BC because it may help regulate your period.
Mine is a bit different than yours but somewhat the same.I had my little guy and bled for 2.5 months my ob\gyn gave me BC and wanted me to start taking it that day but it was not the day after my period stopped i don't even know when mine starts yet but it has made the bleeding almost stop.
So start taking it anyways it may help if you keep a journal of when you start the pill and when you bleed then you can tell your doctor if it don't quit!!
Good Luck! I hoped I helped you out!!

Its probably your normal period... start the bc pill ASAP like this sunday (today)! You will be fine! I have abnormal periods that start every 2 weeks until i got on the pill then it made it regular... so dont freak out, if your period lasts for more than a week and a half then go see the doctor! =) hope this helps!

The first period may have been very light because you may not have been far into your cycle, so the lining of your uterus was not so thick. The morning after pill interrupts your natural cycle so it may take time to get back on track. See your doctor if you are really worried.
