I think it differs for everyone...that is something to ask your doctor hon. I think I remember my mom telling me 13 years ago that it takes a few years to become really regular.

There's no set time. My periods started when I was 12; I'm nearly 40 now and they've never been regular, other than when I've been on the pill. If you are worried because yours are not regular and think that it isn't "normal", please don't be concerned - everybody is different.

They reckon about 2 years, I've had them about 18 months now and mine still aren't regular but they seem to be getting a bit more regular.

From first menstruation, either immediately or within a year. If they do not become regular after a year, see a gyn.

If you are young, and it is your first year, then it is normal.
I don't have mine yet, and I am 13.
My sister got it, at 14, and said that she got it on Otober 24th, she didn't get it in November. She got it, Deember 6th. Then, she got it January 31st. Weird, huh?

It actually took me a couple of years. Even now, many years later, it still has a mind of its own.

Could be years.
If it bothers you, you could always get it regulated by using birth control pills.
