I was in high school (probably 16 or 17). All my friends knew. My teachers knew. I wore army boots and didn't (still don't) shave my legs or armpits.

I spent about six months being as obnoxiously sexual as possible - pointing out all the women I thought were hot, looking obviously at girls, talking constantly about all things gay - in an attempt to make my mom ask me if I was gay. She never did. Eventually, a friend called me a dyke and my mom asked why she would call me that. I told her that I was lesbian.

She didn't believe me.

I've known I was bisexual since before puberty. I am 53 now, and would never consider my sexuality any of my parents business. However unless they are ok with it, I would never tell a parent anything until I wasn't dependent on them to provide for me.

My daughter told me she was bisexual when she was about 20 but everyone else, including her father knew years before then. It just wasn't important to me to have noticed, her sexual life is her business not mine.

The Bible continually tells us that gay pastime is a sin (Genesis 19:a million-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans a million:26-27; a million Corinthians 6:9). Romans a million:26-27 teaches in certain that homosexuality is end results of the denying and disobeying God. even as someone retains in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “provides them over” to even extra wicked and wicked sin with the intention to reveal them the futility and hopelessness of existence except for God. a million Corinthians 6:9 pronounces that gay “offenders” received't inherit the dominion of God. God does not create someone with gay needs. If someone is born with an greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it acceptable for then to provide into those needs? for sure not! an same is authentic for homosexuality. although, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “more effective” sin than the different. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is in basic terms between the various stuff listed in a million Corinthians 6:9-10 which will shop someone from the dominion of God. in accordance to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is in basic terms as accessible to a gay because it really is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, assassin, thief, etc. God also grants the potential of victory over sin, which includes homosexuality, to all those who will count on Jesus Christ for his or her salvation (a million Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17). said factors: popping out of Homosexuality by technique of Bob Davies and one 0 one many times requested questions about Homosexuality by technique of Mike Haley.

She said that if I was to come out say 5-7 years earlier she would of thought therapy would of been good for me. Ha ha . My parents are both very open minded. Thanks to my older sister for opening their eyes.

I didn't tell them, they found out when I was a young teenager and threw me out of the house. Thank goodness for my grandma who took me in after several miserable months on the street.
