if u r sure u want to grant him a divorce, then why bother abt giving a gift at all? are u thinking that the valentine gift may bring him back to u? certainly u dont need to go after a guy who doesnt want u anymore. turn ur love and life to a worthier direction. but if u want this valentine gift to be a parting gift, then give him something simple- a box of candy or some roses. tahts all. at the same time, remember that ur life doesnt stop here. it is for his future happiness that ur husband asked for a divorce. so why dont u try to make ur future a happy one to. all the best

If you want to keep him, then a simple letter asking for his reasons to be written down, and the pros and cons of his decision.
If you dont want to keep him... best start making plans FAST.
Divorce is almost never nice and amicable.... good luck in your life and hope you have the resources to live on your own for a while. Blessings to you and yours
(( you didnt say much about details, whether kids are involved or other things like potential abuse or infidelity, so you really need to think on those issues and what is at stake... if kids are involved, I hope that somehow the two of you can work things out and relearn to love each other))
Good luck.

A brand new set of locks on every door in the house. This would be most effective as a surprise however. A frozen bank account and closed credit card accounts are just as appealing to the romantic divorce seeker.
Don't forget the card dear, the business card for your attorney that is.
Good luck to you dear.

Divorce papers sound like they would be the perfect gift. And get yourself a new man for Valentine's Day.

Oh, sweetie... be as deviously creative as you've always wanted...just for example...a valentine (written out by a co-conspirator) from some gorgous locally famous woman who wouldn't look twice in his direction - make it very come hither - make sure it tells him to meet her at her office or home with flowers and champagne. The possibilities are endless...the complications? Hilarious! I'd make sure she's not married - wouldn't want to break up a happy marriage.
If all else fails, the dead fish is my pick...you might pin a little name card to it with his name on it. Naturally, feign total ignorance of it when he confronts you. It is always wise to involve your best friend...that way you are telling the truth when you say it wasn't you.

I think you need to put Valentine's Day on hold. If you really feel like you do need to get a card, you can get a friendship card.

A frozen dinner, make sure to unplug the microwave, and then the gift of you spending the night out at a nice restaraunt with your best friend while he tears the microwave apart. That sounds nice.

A box of dried poop tied with a big red ribbon. Go ahead, you will be laughing at this when you think about it years from now. Think of his reactions when he open the box on Valentine's day.....hahhahahahhah.
