Are you kidding. This gets a Big Resounding HECK NO!!!!! Not with bands like Linkin Park, Hinder, Audioslave, 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Godsmack, Disturbed and the Like putting out great Songs. Still. There is still room for rock. We all look for that hard edge. Whether anyone admits it or not, everybody listens to it. Not to Mention, Classic rock, bands like, Rolling Stones, Queen, Aerosmith. I could go on but I would get Carpul Tunal syndrome if I kept going so I will stop here.

It would seem like it to the people who are stuck on the bands from the 70's and 80's. Don't get me wrong, they WERE great, but it's time to move on. Music probably will never be like that again. That's just how it works. I'm just glad there are talented bands still. Not all of them are, though. But with rock, most of them are. I would consider it the genre with the most talent, because with other genres, they don't even write their own music or play instruments. I wouldn't say rock is dying, it's just changing. Obviously, not everyone is ready for it, but it's going to happen either way. I, for one, like it, but I can understand why other people don't.

Talent always wins in the end.
