Of course, you can take bath and showers. But not very hot either very cold, with middle temperature and not for too long.
Also if you drink orange juice or eat chocolate as well as some spices garlic, cinnamon or even tomatoes juice or wine too much , you can increase the flow of the period because they stimulate the blood.

Food with natural hormons such as honey or soy or herbs that could impact on your hormons such as parsley should be eaten with moderation on these days.
The same with exercise. You can do it, it's even recommended to make some streching moves or walk but with moderation, not extreme.

Think like this, menstruation it may be natural but it's the same with any other bleeding, if your leg would bleed,God forbids, how much time would you spend in the bath tub?

Also I noticed that few guys answered this question? Were they doctors or they talked from their own experience?!!!?

Of course you can! Taking a hot bath can actually help relieve some of the cramps in your tummy and your back. Staying with your exercise routine can also help work out some of the stress and tension.

Of course. There will be some blood in the water though so rinse off with the shower after but soaking in the hot water is actually good for relaxing cramped muscles. A lot of women swear that orgasms are the best thing for relaxing mentrual cramps, and my gf likes to have sex in the shower while she's on her period, but before her period when she's PMSing she doesn't let me near her, but she does masturbate in the bathtub.

First, last and anytime in between. If you have a heavy flow, be sure to wear a tampon. I take more baths during my period than any other time. The warmth seems to ease my cramps and backaches.

You can do anything you want. Why should it be any different? Just try to forget about it. Exercise A LOT. Feel the burn. Pain is good.
