In NCIS, Abigail "Abby" Scuito work alone. It is maybe because she is a Triple Major at LSU--Sociology, Criminology and Psychology... and graduated with full honors... Also because she has a Master's Degree from Georgia State University in Criminology and Forensic Science, graduated with honors...And also because she has worked at a local funeral home in New Orleans, Louisiana all four years of high school...
Or maybe is it because nobody wants to work with a "Goth" who has irregular lifestyle and who is a great consumer of a super caffeinated soda called CAFF-POW!

Abby prefers to work alone. They did get her a lab technician assistant but he turned out to be a psycho. He wanted revenge on Tony because Tony got him fired from a previous job. He tried to kill Abby because she figured it out. But she kicked his butt! hehe. Abby is one of my favourite characters in that show.

Well most of the time she prefers to work alone. I think she just prefers to figure things out by herself. Occasionally she does work with McGee when it's to do with computers
