there is a quilt in the 1955 movie Tall Men with Clark Gable & Jane Russell. It is white with a flower pattern on it. My mother is looking for a pattern or information to where we can found that pattern. Jane Russell carries that quilt around through most of the movie.

I haven't been able to find a decent photo of the quilt, so I can't tell you exactly. I'm pretty sure it's appliqued rather than pieced, so there may not even be a specific pattern for it. Check Quilter's Cache for instructions to hundreds of different quilt blocks, including some applique. You might not find the exact pattern, but you could do something similar using fabrics like in the movie. If you can't find something similar, try drawing it out and making your own pattern.
