how can i send a joke iv read to a friend on here?

iv seen a good joke but it is to long to write out on a text how can i send it to her she is on a bt broadband can anyone tell me in simle terms as im new to the computer many thanks

use copy and paste

Copy and paste it...basically you right click on the text..highlight it, then click on copy...right click where you want to put it...then click paste!
