Einstein said that traveling to the past was impossible not time travel in general. He believed that if you approach the speed of light then it was possible to travel to the future. He was right that it is possible to travel to the future if your traveling fast enough but it has not yet been proven that past time travel is possible or impossible.

Some theories, most notably special and general relativity, suggest that suitable geometries of spacetime, or specific types of motion in space, may allow time travel into the past and future if these geometries or motions are possible.

Physicists take for granted that if one were to move away from the Earth at relativistic velocities and return, more time would have passed on Earth than for the traveler, so in this sense it is accepted that relativity allows "travel into the future" (although according to relativity there is no single objective answer to how much time has 'really' passed between the departure and the return). On the other hand, many in the scientific community believe that backwards time travel is highly unlikely. Any theory which would allow time travel would require that issues of causality be resolved. What if one were to go back in time and kill one's own grandfather (see grandfather paradox)? Additionally, Stephen Hawking once suggested that the absence of tourists from the future constitutes an argument against the existence of time travel—a variant of the Fermi paradox, with time travelers instead of alien visitors.

In a few words:
Theoritically YES, practically NO or, not yet.

Einstein special relativity made it impossible cuz time travel is only possible if an object can travel faster than light. but what if time travel needs technology that isn't restricted by the laws of physics? may be time travel is as easy as remembering the past and hoping the future ,if we can transport our body with our thoughts by some kind of spiritual technology

I dont think Einstein ever mentioned any thing about time travel. If time would be an entity ,than you could not put 10 lbs in a five lbs bag or empty the five pound bag and expect 10 lbs.
Some things are irreversable;Time follows such a rule.

We travel in time all the time (no pun intended) but only in one direction. If travel at faster than light was possible, we might move back in time or maybe stay still, which could be fatal. There could be other nasty effects to living organisms or non-living matter.

There was a young lady called Bright
Whose speed was much faster than light
She set out one day
In a relative way
And arrived the previous night.

The lady was Bright but not bright
And she joined the next day in the flight
Then two made the date
Then four, and then eight
And her spouse got a hell of a fright.

A fencing instructor called Fisk
Had a thrust exceedingly brisk
So fast was his action
The Fitzgerald contraction
Foreshortened his sword to a disk.

If Hawkings suggested the absence of Time Travellers was evidence against time travel, I think it was just a challenge to Time Travellers to introduce themselves to him.
Why would a Time Traveller tell his Identity to anyone? He risks getting knocked on the head and having his time machine stolen.
He risks Guantanamo type trappings till he tells of how to make fortunes within the next 10 years.

* I have a few ideas on how time travel may be possible, but this is not the place to talk about it. You would also have to work within Newton's laws.

BTW, if a time traveller ever did shake your hand, be worried. He wouldn't introduce himself to you unless you were the threat in the future he was sent back to kill.

what I've learned from life and mathmatics, everything not impossible!

Time travel is possible if people are responsible for their actions
