my favourite is a home made sweet, not found in shops.

It's called "layali loubnan" and I can't remember who passed it on to me ages ago but it is everybody's preferred dessert when I have a party.

it's a kind of mouhalabieh made with cornflower, topped with achta, then bananas, pistachios and flower jam.
