The Kama Sutra is divided into seven parts each focusing on a diffrent topic involving love. The first section focuses on how to achieve Moska. The second on the sexual union of man and woman, such as the types of embraces kisses and diffrent sexual positions. The next section explains how a man should go about selecting a wife. The fourth section is concerned with the way a wife should behave and act when her husband is away. Part five discusses the proper behavior of men towards other men's wives. The sixth chapter focuses on the diffrent types of courtesans and how they should behave. The final section is devoted to restoring ones sexual desires and drives. This chapter goes into detail of the use of aphrodisiacs and how someone should go about attracting themselves to others. Vatsayana belived that was necessary for human existance and stated, "Gratification of the sex urge is an essential for the happiness and well being of men as food." This shows Vatsayana belived sex to be a nessesity not a luxury. Vatsayana thought Kama essential for achieving supreme bliss Moska. He placed much enphasis sex because he belived it cleared the body and awakens the mind so men could focus on the other two spheres of Moska.
