Animals are not conscience of themselves. They don't think of themselves as "I". They just simply feel hungry so they eat for example. They act on instinct. They do not think. Some of them might feel love for their young. I am not sure. Some are happy to let their offspring get eaten and will not risk their lives to save them while others will die in vain protecting them.

Whose to say?

I think that humans can learn a few things from animals. Some animals are on the survival instinct mode while others stay with the same partner all their life.

Human love is complex not just based on survival of the specy. Most of the animal love is based on reproduction hormones. We also have those reproduction hormones but because of having AWARENESS / CONSCIENCE, we can choose to behave differently.

My dream is to find a man with 1 dog gene. I am single and this has been my dream for a long time. A man like that would be the most loyal, the most unselfish, caring individual with unconditional love.

Being humans, we can pick and choose, we can observe and copy what we consider the best of both world.

"Human Love" is an affection towards a lover, family member and/or simply a friend, and lasts a life time. I may not be an animal, but as far I know, animals have a limit. For example, if a male dog and a female dog mate, that doesn't mean there're in love or somethin', I consider it an instint, there isn't love nor affection, besides "the male dog" will reproduce over again with other female dogs. Now, if a dog mother has pups, obviously, she cares for them, but has a "limit". Once those pups grow, the mother might not reconize them anymore, and sees them as other dogs. But not just dogs, other animals as well. I'm not saying that animals don't love, they do, but have a limit. Unlike pets or domestic animals, they last longer.

Theres not that much difference its just that over the years humans have made what is natural taboo. The only reason we are self conscience about our bodies is because the media has defined a look and anything other than this look is ugly.In fact we are all different and beautiful just like animals but we have been conditioned to beleive otherwise. We all have sexual urges like animals but must control them because thats what is expected of us.Have you ever had someone touch your arm and you become aroused ?This isnt because you are immoral this is our animal instinct becoming aroused by that persons touch or smell or anyone of a hundred things that feed our senses..

It depends on the animal. Lobsters mate for life and a few other animals do to. I do feel they have 'affection' and I think they feel love, not quite like man, but close. Man is fickle.

Animals get jealous of other animals too! If you look at it UN-like MAN -you will understand. Just read some of these answers to your question and you will see that very few men can handle real love! Animals love unconditionally, unlike man.

"Human Love" is an affection in the direction of a lover, relatives member and/or basically a chum, and lasts a lifestyles time. i will no longer be an animal, yet as a techniques i understand, animals have a shrink. as an occasion, if a male canine and a woman canine mate, that would not advise there're in love or somethin', I evaluate it an instint, there is no longer love nor affection, besides "the male canine" will reproduce yet lower back with different woman canines. Now, if a canine mom has domestic dogs, needless to say, she cares for them, yet has a "shrink". as quickly as those domestic dogs improve, the mummy will possibly no longer reconize them anymore, and sees them as different canines. yet no longer basically canines, different animals to boot. i'm no longer saying that animals do no longer love, they do, yet have a shrink. unlike pets or relatives animals, they final longer.

Human love is generally artificial, circumspect, hypocritical… Animal love is unconditionally, true and for a life time.

Animals love unconditionally - even you're having a bad hair day, when you are tired and cranky, when you have bad breath and body odor, when you come home late, they are always glad to see you, not angry. They love you even after you put everyone else before them, when you finally get time for them, they aren't angry about it, they are just happy to see you and spend time with you. They love to snuggle with you and don't even mind if you fart - they don't leave the room and call you names or give paybacks!
