i think this car id distributorless you cant set the timing as it takes a signal from the crankshaft check your hood decal it will confirm this

try changing plugs adding fuel cleaner to it i use 1 quart auto trans fluid and 1 can spray carb cleaner in the fuel tank with 8 to 10 gals of fuel it works great
