Virtually everything; from electricity, to making the table, engines, computers, what we have learned about cleanliness and disease prevention, preserving food, making of plastic, etc...

It's not hard to see all the ways science has changed our lives and very existence.

Aside from ????

My god man what doesn't it affect. Just go through a typical day in your mind. Now give me a list of five things you do. I'll tie everyone of them to science in some way. Science has developed EVERYTHING but rocks, and the science involved with moving them even takes that out of the picture.

You sleep on man made material, wear clothes made of man made material. Your tooth brush is plastic, your pots and pans are coated with Teflon. Your car is steel, iron is natural, steel is a product of science. Do you see what I mean? Science is such an integral part of our lives it is impossible to isolate and discuss.

Your question would require at least an encyclopedia length document to even begin to cover all the science in our daily lives.

It earns bread if you're a scientist. Otherwise, it does not affect us at all - it is the happenings which Science studies which affect us, not Science itself.

I don't think I know all the possible answers to that.
One thing I can say, with some certainty, is that without electricity, we wouldn't be doing this.
Three cheers for Mr.Volta, and Mr.Faraday, Mr.Ohm, and, well, you people know who you are...
Actually, that's about where my memory runs dry, on electricity related folk, but you get my drift...
