I think you must of missed a lot more then a few episodes as Martin and Sonia were in Eastenders not Coronation Street.
However to answer you question they got back together at the last moment when Sonia was leaving Walford for good .The family decided to leave together and start afresh elsewhere.

Sonia got in a taxi to leave for Manchester. Martin and Rebecca decided they couldn't live without her, got into the taxi and they all left the square for a new life together

Howvere in Eastenders they drove off in a taxi together with their daughter to start a new life away from the square. if they had sayed they would not have been able to live together or marry again under terms of Pauline's will it was the condition for Martin living in the house.
So Martin at long last did what he wanted and not mommy and house is up for sale with Ian wanting it.
Only bad thing is the door has been left open for them to return if their careers do not go well and they run out of money.

sonia missed her action with naomi so had a quickie with her,then she was gonna leave but remembered that she was in love with bert.she told him,but he said he wouldnt touch her with a bargepole.she then went on a killing rampage and killed all the crap actors[i wish]then she left to steal biancas boyfriend off her.as for martin,he just bore to death.LITTLE rebecca [the worst child actor ever] went the same way as martin.the next storyline i would like to see is a massive exposion on the sqaure to get rid of the rest of them.i hope this helps.
