My daughter (14) has just told me we need to go shopping as she has no jeans, but when we looked in her wardrobe she has 9 pairs (admittedly 2 pairs had holes in). She also has leggings, combats, jogging bottoms and trousers. So how many pairs do you need to own to have NONE

She has no brand NEW jeans, and to a 14 year old girl that makes all the difference. She is truly deprived.

I am exactly like your daughter. I have a ton of jeans, but i always buy them. I guess she gets tired of her jeans. You should try going to Platos Closet, and let her look there for jeans, since they are really cheap, or let her trade in some of her jeans to get money and let her go shopping with her own money.

i'm not sure how many jeans i have, i get hand-me-downs from people, so some of the ones i like fit better than others. i like having alot because there isn't a mad dash at the end of the week to wash them all. she might just feel the need to go shopping.

In my opinion, she sounds like she's on her way to being spoiled. Fashion is important to a teenager but she should learn how to work with what she has. I'd rather buy her more tops to change up the look of the jeans than more and more pairs of jeans with only slight variations.

I myself had "no jeans" as of yesterday... admittely there are 25 pair in my closet, but they don't give me that warm and cuddly feeling anymore..
So I bought 4 more pair... now I feel warm inside!

I thought ripped or holey jeans were in style, but who am I to know? My kids are all parents themselves today.
Maybe you could get her another pair for Valentine's day. Then she would surely have enough. LOL

I didn't even get my FIRST pair of jeans till I was 19. That's right. 19. Tell your daughter to quit being so spoilt.

She is 14 which means in teenager means none. She could have 25 and it isnt enough. lol
