Both are not right.... you do not want someone if you love nor do you love because you want someone.... in love, you do not think of your wants or what you want to have... instead the lover always thinks of what the loved one wants or needs.

It's really a problem of understanding the question... One may say both are wrong to say, or one may understand it differently and respond that the second statement is right because: "I want you because I love you" can be understood as "I love you so much that I see you as the most beautiful and appealing person on Earth"(even though the person would not be exactly that)=>"I want you". But that's just a deviation...

I WANT YOU BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. It's beautiful to want a person when feelings are deeply involve. You could not love a person because of lust because, it's just that, lust. You know, your question set the boundary between "sex" and "making love"

Love is not desire or sex. Happiness is the natural state of man, buried beneath self-image, released by exposure to those similar to self, thus allowing the dropping of defensive walls, resulting in sudden freedom from such walls, while the accompanying freedom and elation is called, "love".

Either way it is not correct. Blossoming of mind spiritually is love. Like a rose does not give fragrance for any individual, so also love cannot be for any individual.

I love you because I wanted you.
There's no way you could love something or someone if you didn't want it first and then not want it later. Weird stuff!0!
You've got to lack it(want), desire it(want), have it(not want), then you can love it.
So, first you want it(lack-desire), then you don't want it(have it), then you can appreciate it and love it.
Nice Q, thank you!

Neither. Better to just simply say I love you and mean it.
