Actually I don't think a buttered ice rink would be all that slippery.. I think if you were to try and skate or run across the ice you would find that it would get all gunky and trip you up.... try putting lube on a ping pong ball and not dropping it.. now that's slippery!!

It is not slippery, logic tells us that the butter will be frozen on the ice rink, hence KY jelly on a metal pole maybe!
