There is only one God. We just all see him differently.

Hold out your hand. If you look at your hand you see the back of it with knuckles and fingernails. If I am across from you I see the palm and fingerprints. Same hand different aspects.

There is no Your God, Their God, Christian God, Muslim God.

There is one God. I wish we could all look for the similarities rather than the differences.

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One resercher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another reseacher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.
"Manush" (human) was so named because he has "Manas" a
mind higher than that of the animals which realises the
divinity in creation. It was present since the creation
of human beings. Religion is the characteristic feature
of most of the human beings. It is as eternal and
and as unchanging as the Almighty.

If you have seen a program on African animals in any TV
channel, you must have observed that all of them look
alike, in shape and size. But, variety is the spice of
life for man. We are as different as our finger prints.
Since man has Manas, he all ways tries a different
approach for the same aim. But, we all know that all
rivers join the same sea. In the same way, all
spiritual efforts finally provide the realisation of
one Almighty. The first book of Rg Veda says that
there is only one Almighty, but people speak of
different gods. One day they will know the truth.
Knowing of this truth is the highest spiritual
achievement for an individual. It is not an easy
task - it is a spiritual challenge.

They are all different routes of climbing the same mountain, that of spiritual quest. You can go to Delhi via Agra, Amritsar or Asansol but eventually the destination is Delhi. Same deal, Temple, Church or Mosque the destination is a higher power. Trouble begins when the Agra passenger insists Amritsar Babu travel via Agra too. Let the passengers choose their own routes.

According to Einstein, we know that there is only one single energy which manifests as various objects.

e=mc2

Which means, matter is nothing but energy. If you can decompose the microphone or book or your own body, finally you will find something called quarks - which are just energy fields. Matter is nothing but field vibrations.Einstein proved that the play and display in the whole universe is just an illusion - as everything we see is nothing but just different manifestations of the same energy.

Modern scientific developments (like efforts in Unified Field Theory and string theory) are giving us a better understanding of the universe. Earlier, it was assumed that the space or vaccum is empty or void and energy and matter is something that exist in this vaccum - but now we know that vaccum itself is not void as we think - but it has information in it and energy is just vibration in the level of space or conciousness. The whole cosmos is one single organism, with its own intelligence. Each universe itself can emerge and re-emerge in this.

Human beings are a species who can elevate their conciousness through meditation and by going deep with in, to gain access to this information, to be one with the cosmos. Enligtened masters like Buddha, Jesus, Nabi etc did that. They experienced this truth and later, their followers took some part or other from the talks of their masters, and thus religions were formed. This is why we have lot of Gods, temples and churches, worshipping the same conciousness in different forms.

When you meditate, you can synchronize your awareness with the cosmic being.

We have only one totaling of waters (sea or ocean) on the face of the glob. But the waters near Indian subcontinent is called Indian Ocean. Then you have Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Arabian Sea etc. In actual you look into it with your own perspective and name according to your convenience. Did God himself construct any Temple, Church or Masjid? No, it is we, human beings did it. Ask a learned man in Hinduism, Christianity or Islam: ‘How many Gods are there?’ I guarantee you, the only answer you get is “ONE”. I think this answers your question.

There is only one God.We give Him different names and intrepret his existencein different ways according to our faith. It is only in India we have different religions different castes and languages. That's why we find so many temples churches and mosques. God is omnipresent. He is found every where and seen in every creation of Nature.Reigion is a set of ethical code which we designed for ourselves some centuries back. This code should help us to live in perfect peace and harmony with love and respect for others.

Temples, mosques, churches etc, are expressions of godlieness in human mind which was expressed as it occured in a human mind at that given time. But the facinating aspect is, none them originated in contest to other. God is godliness in human mind, which can be given life too by every living human being.

Look my dear just like everything that glitters is not gold, the same way everything you see is not god's creations or the way he planned things.

When we are small we fight after whose toy is better. We may have grown up but we still havent stopped fighting, its just that our toys have changed. Now we fight over god! Your god is better then mine and all that unrequired stuff. In our quest to win this useless fight we make temples and add another "member lord" to the club called religion.

All the scriptures state that god is not an object of desire and cannot be quantified in temples or idols. He is energy and an omni-present presence. God is within us. So in my opinion we have so many gods because we have so many views. When the sole fact is that god is in me and you...

yes,god is only one.there is nothing before him a nothing after him,he is not a human,he has no wife,no father,no mother,no child.
he created everything,including us.
though he is us people from many religions have started worshipping other things or materials with him.which is very, very wrong.
if u think that there r many gods for different things then let me ask u....is god do weak that he can do only one thing or control only one thing...well i think that idea is totally ridiculous.
soem people misunderstand the scriptures or the msg sent by god and end up making their own religion ...which is the reason we have so many versions of religions now.
