LOST is certainly one of the best, but as with everything it's personal taste. there was a program on recently here in the UK (sky one)which, in my opinion was on par if not better than LOST. it was called The Lost Room and starred Peter Krause (he's the bloke from six feet under).
If you like LOST you'll probably enjoy this too. Keep an eye out for it, no doubt Sky will be repeating to soon.
best programs ever... hmmm
I rather like Never Mind The Buzcocks. would it be terribly sad to say 'breakfast news'?

Difficult question to answer - as its all a matter of opinion and we all like different things and there have been so many great programmes over the years.
At the moment my personal favourite whish has been around for a few years now and still running is Shameless - quality

It WAS during season One.
I think Heroes is the best so far. That and NCIS and CSI.
To Nothing: Season three is not over yet, there are 15 more episodes in the season. Look for the DVD's later in the year, like September.

This type of show was just what the public needed, Intrigue, mystery, life and death struggle on an hourly basis, as well as "love" triangles within the cast.........overall a pretty good show, even in syndication.

Even better are 'Hill Street Blues', 'Washington Behind Closed Doors' or 'The Paper Chase'.
