I caught a flying insect in a tupperware box. I don't like bugs in my house but I want to end this humanely. Do I

a) release it somewhere else in the building and let it starve/dehydrate to death
b) squash it
c) put the box outside (it's 0 F) and let it go to sleep

I'm thinking of going with Option C but let me know what you think.

Vanja,

Let it go where? Not in my house. Anywhere else and it will either starve (indoors) or freeze (outdoors).

The Supreme Court has ruled that lethal injection is the only way to humanely terminate a bug. A solution of 40% Raid and 60% Jack Daniels administered with a turkey baster is recommended.

I like A & B much more. I would not have put it in a box. It would be dead by now. If I did not get to it first, my cat would have caught it and eaten it.
