Most games will work on vista when running in compatibility mode for windows XP. To do this right click on the program-click properties- click the compatibility tab then tick run this program in compatibility mode and select windows XP SP2 from the drop down list and press ok.

What it means is that if you buy or download software,
it has to say " Vista Ready " otherwise the program will not run.
If it does not say this any software that you buy or download will only be compatible with Windows XP. so if you have downloaded game software you will have to un-install it for it will not run and only take up disk space on your new computer. hope this information helps you, good luck

The games may conflict with vista, but dont worry, there will be Vista Compatible games out soon, it will just take a while before everything becomes Vista compatible!!

It does not mean that they won't work at all. You are just going to have to test each one separately. Many programs still work in Vista.

Why not find a free game, download it, and see what happens. If no good, uninstall it.
