I have just read your previous question . I tend to agree with you some people do generalise . I am blonde and have big boobs and intelligent. I have had every blonde and big boob joke and saying aimed at me. Why !! because I have blonde hair and big boobs . I am stereotyped as having no brains by some people because of my hair colour and boob size .
I totally understood your question you was clearly asking why some people put other people in certain categories purely on looks etc . Shame some people didn't read your question properly.

I was not offended because I am a brunette naturally and feel that hair color should never define someone but unfortunately in this society it does. With that being said ...this could all end if women and men focused more on being smart and financially stable and less on looks. Whats it worth to be beautiful and not know how to spell the word beautiful?

I know that subconsciously when I walk down the street I'm more likely to stare if the girl is blonde. I reckon that's the same with most men. There is something about a blonde that takes mankind back to primitive instincts. Probably something to do with finding mates with good genes and North European ideals like blonde hair are more attractive.

That question made me incredibly self concious, and due to that I ripped at my hair for hours until there were large bald patches. It was terrible, and made me feel even worse so I tried to dye it dark brown. This only made my skin break out into an uncomfortable rash and the open sores itch horribly. Finally I just took up cutting to forget about the rest of my pain and am now hooked on inflicting razor marks to myself.
All of this because I'm far too sensitive to read things on the intertubes. It's not your fault...I'm soft. My dad never told me he was proud of me and my mother never breast fed.
Then again, maybe it was that awful awful question posted last Wendsday that pushed me over the edge. Thanks. Thanks for nothing.

I wouldn't have been offended at all. On my website homepage I have sound on it saying, "OMG I'm like, totally blonde"
Too many people get upset these days about silly little things that people say, or may not say. I have no time for these people because they must have empty lives to find offence everywhere they go.
As long as it isn't an all out attack on blonde's why stress over it ;o)
I still love you xx

Wasn't offended in the least... I often wonder why people choose to stereotype because of hair colour. I have been blonde and brunette and funnily enough my intellect has remained at the same level - high! :)
I am however offended at the insinuation that men are more intelligent than women! :) As if!
Y'see, you can't win! :) xx

I didn't see it but I am a natural blonde and cannot conceive that I would be remotely offended by anything anyone would say regarding my hair colour.
