This is going to be used at a village fete, the estimated hire cost of the castle is around £170.00. We will probably be letting them stay on it fo around 5 minutes. any suggestions would be most welcome

That's quite a considerable cost to recoup and then you need to turn a profit!
But hey they're kids, so not too much.
$2 is what I'd charge (or one pound, English).

Ballpark figure and a fair price would be 50p a go, or how about an "All Day Pass" for 2 quid. Print off some cheap tickets. How about a silly competition like "Crazy Bouncer of the Day", a cheap certificate and a toffee apple as a prize (£1.00 a go to enter heehee)

you can charge $1.00 to $2.00 but let them stay in for at least 10 minutes. so they feel that they are getting thier money worth. 5 minutes is nothing, by the time you get them in there they are ready to come out. good luck., you should do because I know alot of children loves the bouncy castle. and don't let alot in all at once. because someone can get hurt. I use to run one when I worked at the carnival. good luck and have fun.

Bouncy castles round our way charge up to £2.50 but as its a village fair £2 is reasonable although you will need 85 kids to break even.

£1 for 10 mins. my park in the north east charges 1.50 for 15 mins but its not often full. most people have a pound coin in their pockets. and also if a family has 2,3,4 kids it mounts up.

First off, you should charge the parents, not the children. They have all the money. Second, 2 dollars, pounds, euros or whatever sound fair to me.

Charge the parents not the children. 50p a go.

50p for 15 minutes sounds fair- or maybe 80p for 2 kids- and they will come back again and again!

I think you should charge them 50p a go because many children have 50p in their pockets
