Well that depends which Treaty of Paris you are referring to:

The Paris Peace Treaty of 1763 which helped end the 7 Years War and marked a period of dominance of the British outside of Europe.

The one of 1783 which was ratified by the Congress of the Confederation on January 14, 1784 and formally ended the American Revolutionary War between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the United States of America that had rebelled against British rule in 1776.

Or do you mean the one of 1898 which was signed on December 10, 1898 and ended the Spanish-American War. The Treaty of Paris provided that Cuba would become an independent country, and the United States acquired Puerto Rico and Guam and agreed to pay Spain twenty million dollars for the Philippines.

You see- it may be difficult for people to answer your question without more specific information. Sorry

Following on from what Bales says, this question is typical of one asked by a student. The Asker has clearly been instructed to write an essay or prepare a project on the Treaty of Paris as homework etc. She knows what period she is studying, we don't. She needs to learn to do her own research, rather than expecting others to do it for her.
