Good question! The answer, I suppose, is that he's English and therefore wants to support England. No-one here in Wales seems that keen on him being patron of the WRU, but he might as well at least go through the motions.

Why do the welsh want an english prince in the first place? They probably told him to go watch england and report back for the england v wales game.

Its not right, the royals shoould be impartial and should not support any of the home nations individually. It was the same at the rugby world cup when Harry was there with his England top on.

Maybe cause he only supports England while his aunt knows where her allegiances lie by being at every Scotland game,and not only that but cheering the team on.

because he wanted to see a game of rugby not two groups of girls swinging their handbags at each other.come on start supporting england we've won the world cup in football and rugby although i did hear that wales won the world tiddly winks competition once in the 1950's.congratulations!!!!!

although he he is future prince of wales, like the ones b4 him, he was born in england, so birth comes b4 title, which suits me fine!
the sooner he is stripped of this title the better!
