Doesnt the new owner need some kind of verirfication code when they install it? Anyway i have this game i never play and it sits around taking up room,let me know if i can just sell it without any further work or research.

Sure you can sell the game, say in the description that it may need a new verification code, and depending on the game, you can usually get a new code

The site might let you, but you have a slim chance if it is opened, because some games stick to the computer and you don't need the disk to play, so if someone believes that you don't have it on your computer, then you have a chance of someone bying it

One guy put an Xbox for sale that turned out to be a box with an X drawn on, I thnk an used computer game would be OK.

sure. do you not have whatever verification code? just describe the game exactly as it is and if you don't have it tell them you don't. somebody will probably buy it.
