No they should bloody well not.
No country should be equipped with nuclear weapons. Yes, that includes you, America.

Should anyone be equipped with nuclear weapons? The fact is we are, they are and they aren't going to get rid of them because the rest of the world says so. Nuclear Weapons are great bargaining tools and we've already seen how much clout they carry. The Americans have now released 300 million dollars held in a frozen bank account that "belongs" to North Korea. See what a great bargaining tool they are now? It won't end there either. Its like asking the developing countries not to burn fossil fuels that may affect Global Warming? "What's good for the goose is good for the gander". It's the developed countries that have created the high CO2 levels. How can we deny them a better future based on our mistakes? I see it as a kind of "forced evolution" created by the wealthier countries of the world. As far as the Nuclear threat goes, the only deterrent is another Nuclear Weapon..........."Checkmate!"

Nuclear weapons per se is not a bad thing. Only the people or leaders that will gonna use it in order to create chaos & troubles.I would say north korea should not be equipt itself w/ nuclear weapons as there are more pressing matters that needs attentions in their country like poverty & economy. They have their own nuclear weapons now but for what purpose? To attack? whom? To defend? from whom? To boast ? i dont get it.

They should feed their people first, look at the nations holding nuclear,weapons and how many are reliant on outside help to feed them. It's a great way to blackmail other nations build a bomb.

Why not? lots of other countries have them. Should be fun if they did. Make a change the tabloids talking about being able to die in a nuclear attack rather than global warming.

I live in Britain and we seem to be able to have these horrendous weapons of mass destruction with no fuss from world leaders, so why should we be hippocritical and try to stop other countries from having them.
