AMD processors heat up more than Intels, generally, but it is not a problem. The idea of AMDs having overheating problems stems from the fact that when they are overclocked, they tend to overheat because they usually run hotter to begin with than Intels. But this problem only happends when you choose to overclock, running at stock speeds AMDs have no overheating problems, you should no be discouraged from buying that processor.

I've never seen an overheat problem with AMD processors and have used them for many years.
