mass hypnotize through subtle, patient, methods. i don't need to see it in paperwork or history books either. it would be a drastic, loathsome responsibility based on humanities current values and sometimes sour life spans.

Start a religion that convinces others that this is the only true religion and deity, that brainwashes children with the religion from the time they can talk, promise that those who die in the name of my religion will become gods themselves and have all their wants and needs provided in the afterlife, that the spread of my religion through conflict and death of non-believers is the right way, etc.
