You really want to learn? Hold...
Learn about these terms first.
Uploading: is to send data to a remote system.
Web Server: a server that HTTP clients connect to in order to send commands and receive responses along with data contents.
FTP: is a name used to encompass a number of ways in which this software can perform secure file transfers.
Web Page: A web page is a resource of information that is suitable for the World Wide Web and can be accessed through a web browser. This information is usually in HTML format, and may provide navigation to other web pages via hypertext links.
Web pages may be retrieved from a local computer or from a remote web server. The web server may restrict access only to a private network, e.g. a corporate intranet, or it may publish pages on the World Wide Web. Web pages are requested and served from web servers using Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP).
HTML: short for Hyper Text Markup Language is the predominant markup language for the creation of web pages. It provides a means to describe the structure of text-based information in a document — by denoting certain text as headings, paragraphs, lists, and so on — and to supplement that text with interactive forms, embedded images, and other objects. HTML is written in the form of labels, created by greater-than signs (>) and less-than signs (<). HTML can also describe, to some degree, the appearance and semantics of a document, and can include embedded scripting language code, which can affect the behavior of web browsers and other HTML processors.
-------------------------------------
Within body tag, text is written....
-------------------------------
If you change the extension of a web page (html extension) saved in your computer into a (text extension), then in the text file you will find how 'html' is written, e.g. place an (dot) .html file viz. 'file.html ' then rename the file into 'file.txt' and open.. You will see how html is written there.
Microsoft FrontPage: is a WYSIWYG HTML editor and web site administration tool from Microsoft for the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems. It was part of Microsoft Office application suite from 1997 to 2006.
With FrontPage you can create WebPages.
To create a page read this: http://viking.coe.uh.edu/~smarsh/fp2003/
To play/view those files (as in your CD) from a website, First crate a specific folder where you keep all your work, make a web page, link those files placed in the created folder and copied from your CD, make hyperlinks in the created page and link those copied files in the folder, ready for upload, you can upload them using the default control panel of the site (where you are going to upload them) or you can use a suitable FTP software for uploading them (basic knowledge required) once you have completed uploading then they can be opened from any web browser.
