Hello i need some opions or help here i have seziures alot and with that i get fluid that builds up in the brain.my insurance does not kick in for another 4 months because its a new ins we are going with and the company doesnty have any right now.but my question is what do i do to get this out doctor will not do a payment plan and asking my family out of the question there not around anymore.doctor said if i dont take care of this now the next good size seziure i have i might die if i cant pull out of it in time i am scared and dont know what to do i cant die i have a 8 year old son that i love to death please someone give me advise or something.thank you.

do you have a hydrocephalus?
If there is any hydrocephalus then a shunt is inserted to remove this fluid or initially to reduce swelling a sub clavian drip using Ringers Solution can help. As for the statement ..."I can't die as i have an 8 year old son..." That is absolute nonsense. If you do have another seizure of course you will die, 8 year old son or not. This is like damned if you do damned if you don't!
Discuss with your doctor the details of the medical insurance problem, Get him to delay the account and date it from the date of insurance.

Call you insurance and demand to talk to their supervisor and explain whats going on. And tell them that you need that insurance now before you die. Or you'll see my LAWYER!!!! Because right now your in a life or death situation and need to have this taken care of right away. I wouldn't wait 4 months. That is bull. They are just giving you a hard time about it. Most insurance companys can have you approved in 1 to 3 days and the policy is ready within the same week. So, my advice to you is, get your insurance company to get off their *** and do something if they want their money. You ain't paying them to ignore you. I'm sorry for being so out spoken, but I don't have to much faith in insurance companys. I think they are only there to get your money and sit on the BUTTS and do NOTHING!!!

I don't know what state you live in but if you have a county hospital or a not for profit hospital, I would go there and get into their system allowing you access to their physicians. Also apply at your local county social service office for outpatient services and a presription card...I don't know what state you live in but where I live this is what I do for my patients that do not have a payor source. Just keep in mind you may not qualify if you're employed, you may be considered over income. You can and will be able to get assistance, just be persistent. Best of luck to you.
