Because feminists know and fear their own inferiority. They're sub-standard women because they've lost the "feminine mystique." They decide, instead, that they want to emulate men. But they can never BE a man, naturally, so they fail on that level too.

Wouldn't you be a bitter and hateful person under the same circumstances? Just look at the other answers for all the proof you need.

Seeing men fail isn't a thrill. Women would prefer to be embraced as a part of a solution.

I tend to see men as quite competitive. It probably isn't you, but some men will take the advice/assistance of men only, and disregard women that offer ideas or help. As a man, I would figure you've seen that even more than women.

When women are 'put in their place' we tend to watch, and sadly sometimes we even gloat a bit, especially following a failure that could have been avoided with teamwork.

But if it makes you feel better, we would feel the same way if our ideas/input were dismissed by a competitive woman too.

Live well

Because I love to see them fail at something that was previously regarded as "a man's job". There's nothing better than seeing a man fail at doing/running something after it's been said "Women can't handle that, push them aside, they're too weak". It further proves that gender doesn't matter.

*By the way, i am a Feminist...;)

I dont know. I am SO not a feminist. I like to see guys suceed!! Thats what they're supposed to do!! I do NOT understand feminist women, I think they need to get a life! Why are they called "feminists" anyway? There's nothing "feminine" about trying to make yourself so much more superior to a guy.

Because like men, women are haters too. Most of the feminists have "daddy issues" or never had a daddy at all. Poor up bringing is what creates the tools and fools in the world. Not just women, but men to. Women want equal rights. You got it. Get you *** on the front lines and fight insurgents with me, and keep up with the breakneck pace. Dont fall. Yeah, women in combat works well, look at Jessica Lynch. Free indoor plumbing to not remember why she peed her panties and could not fire back. And the male nurses in the world, must be gay or closet gaylords. Gender roles are here for a reason people.

I dont think it is only feminist women who get off on somone else failing schadenfreude (joy of damage ?) is actually pretty common. In Germany we have a show where random peopel try sing in front of a jury and audience to be elected on stage, to compete for the No. 1 titel. Those who perform poorly get bashed by the jury for the viewing pleasure of the audience.

Unfortunately some people can only feel good about themselves when other people fail. I believe that it is called "Leveling".

only when a man fails and a woman gets the position does it SOMETIMES "fuel" the woman, because it shows that even after years of opression, us women arent as weak as we were potrayed to be.

It usually isn't. But some people feel a sense of poetic justice at some sort of "divine retribution" aimed at those who keep trying to put them down. They feel, "See how it feels? Not so good, is it?" and expect men to change. But they never do.
