any help plz? i have tried everything with charging the battery, then taking it out, wiping it with a rubber and everything else? any other ideas apart from contact a dealer, which i am doing?

try pressing the power button again. mine did it the other day. the n73 is designed to work even without a sim card so it cant be a problem with that. i would take it in to your provider tomorrow if i were you. you could try phoning your network because they have technical people who could help. i have had this phone for 4 days and so far it has crashed countless times, frozen just as many times and taken an age to turn on. i am seriously thinking of taking it back. good luck

Sounds like a software /firmware problem. It happened to my partners n73. She took hers back and got it replaced. If it does switch on you maybe able to do the upgrade yourself by going to www.nokia.com support. If you cant do this then take it down your local Nokia repair centre. If its under 16 days old take it back to the shop where you bought it. Good luck.

did you try the following ? #1 remove the battery then wait about 2 minutes then replace it

#2 did you forget to pay the bill ?
